Kolekcja roślin / Herbarium

Początki tworzenia kolekcji zielnikowej sięgają 1986 roku. Zielnik rozbudowywany był w następnych latach z myślą o udokumentowaniu całości flory Puszczy Białowieskiej i jej zachodniego przedpola. Z czasem, w wyniku realizacji projektów badawczych i wypraw botanicznych, sukcesywnie powiększano herbarium o okazy z innych części kraju i z zagranicy. Okazy zielnikowe umieszczone są na białych kartach papieru o wymiarach 27x42 cm. Zasuszone rośliny przytwierdzone są do kart paskami papieru metodą Archera. W prawym górnym rogu karta jest opieczętowana numerem kolejnym karty zielnikowej.
